The much anticipated Mitchellex Bazaar finally kicked off to it’s fullest gear yesterday (Although it was opened on Saturday officially) owing to its past successes, it will be a marque.
Campus Bee took a stroll at the Mitchell Bazaar to catch up with the hype that has been surrounded with the Bazaar and the expectation were still on the low but then folks and scores were setting up, freshers were checking out stalls as they gloriously munched on their Rolexes, pool table fanatics were already basked in the sport as Africell had started rolling out dance challenges.
Revelers were still skeptical about checking out stalls but this was understandable because the bazaar was still ‘young’ and the epitome of it being lit was still to come.
“The Bazaar is still young. The freshers are still reporting back and checking out what the bazaar has in store but am positive they will buy and we shall get the returns we anticipate”, a one Tumwesigye Gerald a finalist awaiting graduation and selling popcorn told Campus Bee.
By 5:00pm traders were still setting up their stalls but main partners of the bazaar, Pepsi, Uganda Breweries, Nile Breweries, One Global, Centenary Bank, Tropical Africa Bank, Clueless Uganda, Marie Stopes Uganda, Huawei Technologies, Nyange & Maria Resort, Itel and Techno Uganda had already set up and were making the bazaar active.
“This is one of the biggest bazaars in the land and it never disappoints. Mitchellex bazaar shall be lit starting mid-week.”, a trader noted.
