The founder of MK Publishers Mr. Samuel Majwega Musoke passed on Saturday, June 25th from USA where he had gone to attend his daughter’s graduation ceremony in Minnesota.
According to the family, the deceased breathed his last from Louisiana hospital, in the US.
“With deep sorrow, Ms Halima Majwega of Framingham and her family announce the sudden death of the father of her children MAJWEGA SAMUEL MUSOKE (MK Publisher) of Buziga, Uganda who passed away today the 25th in Louisiana Hospital. Late Samuel had come for the graduation of his daughter in Minesotta,” the death announcement read.
Majwega was the fourth president of Rotary Club in Bunga having been elected in June 2021. He finished his term and handed over to Ms. Teopista Birungi Mayanja on 28th May 2022 who now heads the Bunga Rotary Club.
The Rotarians praised him for his selfless efforts and support he rendered to the club noting;
“You left Uganda on 30th May 2022 for Houston, Texas in the USA to go and represent the club at the Rotary International Convention. But little did we know that it would be the last time we would see you again alive. You were selfless, humble, encouraging, focused and above all friendly to many of us and always giving a listening ear there and helping hand here.”
Besides being the founder of MK Publishers, Majwega was the owner of Avance International University.
