Bazaar back then was an event that many freshers looked up to and put it on their must attend list. However this is not the case for MUBS bazaar lately. The Nakawa based university has had they guild bazaar kick-off today amidst low turn up of both freshers and students.
The bazaar that is expected to take an entire week has kicked off but in a low and boring mode. As our drone took a stroll around MUBS, traders were just setting up, those that had set up a while ago complained about not making a penny since morning and predicted that turnup would be low but nonetheless remained optimistic.
“We have not seen any customers buy tangible products as yet but we hope they will be coming as students slowly come back,” a trader told Campus Bee.
Speaking to one of the students, a one Stacy Aine says that she shopped before reporting so she’s sorted. “Maybe just moving around window shopping or pushing friends…me I shopped before coming,” Aine told Campus Bee when asked why she’s not interested in the Bazaar.
