Makerere University Business School (MUBS) fresh graduate Bruce Malegano in the morning of Independence Day perished in a fatal road accident.
Malegano, according to sources, was from a night out with friends when their Noah vehicle rammed into a Fuso truck as they returned back to hostel.
The Akamwesi Hostel resident, who was always Jolly, together with the two passengers, was rushed to International Hospital Kampala, but it was too late. He’d died on the spot. Later, his body was taken to Mulago Referral Hospital mortuary for a postmortem.
The passengers, identified Mugume Rodney and Kevin Lwanga are currently admitted at IHK in a critical condition. Burial arrangements for Malegano are ongoing and a requiem mass will be held today.

“I can not believe this. One minute you are alive, the next you are out of this world. This is so unfair, why Bruce, why such a young and promising hardworking man? I shall miss you dear friend. RIP” A one Steve wrote on Facebook.
“Bruce was a true friend. He genuinely cared and loved his friends. He lived everyday as it came and was always a happy person. It is sad that we have lost you our dear brother. Rest well Bruce.” Anita, one of Bruce’s friends also chipped in.
