Ahead of Makerere University’s 68th graduation ceremony slated for 16th – 19th January 2018, Makerere University Business School Nakawa has scooped more first class degrees compared to its sister and superior University, Makerere.
According to a list released by Makerere Academic Registrar’s office, a total of 377 students are set to graduate with first class degrees from both Makerere University main campus and MUBS. Among the 377 first class students set to graduate, 139 are from Makerere while the remaining 238 are from MUBS.
More information coming from the Academic Registrar indicates that students obtained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) above 4.40 and will be awarded first class degrees in the upcoming 68th graduation ceremony. Apparently, the number of students who scooped first class degrees are 2.6% of the total 13,966 students expected to graduate from both Makerere and MUBS campuses.
When it comes to performance in particular courses, the course with the highest number of students with first class degrees happens to be the Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration with 10 students.
