Makerere University Business School earlier this month commenced the construction of its Main gate at the institute’s main campus in Nakawa. This is one of the very many uplifts the Business school is getting. Among others is the Entrepreneurship Innovation and Incubation Centre. The Centre was constructed using funds from the African Development Bank (AfDB) under the HEST program with the guidance from the School management.
It also comes months after Makerere University finalized with the construction of its main gate in Wandegeya at its Main campus. The construction of this high-level gate and nearby roads was funded by the World Bank group through Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) as the client of this multi-million project.
Also all roads and pathways within the university are being worked upon. It is not yet clear whether construction will be finalized before the university re-opens for the next academic year kicking off in August but owing to the speed being used during this construction, it most definitely will.
