In a letter dated 1st October 2021, the Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Acting Registrar Eldred Kyomuhangi Manyindo announced that due to technical challenges with the MUBS e-learning platform, the university administration has decided to postpone more exams to next week.
“The School is experiencing technical challenges with the Makerere University Business School E-learning Platform (MUBSEP) that are being addressed. Due to these challenges, the examinations have been postponed and will resume on Monday, October 04, 2021.” Kyomuhangi revealed.
According to Kyomuhangi, exams that were earlier scheduled to be done yesterday, Thursday 30th September, Friday, October 1, Saturday 2nd, and Sunday 3rd have been cancelled.
The letter further clarifies that the said exams have been re-scheduled to be done from 13th -16th October.
“The affected examinations in (i) above will be re-scheduled to be done from October 13, 2021 to October 16, 2021.” The letter reads further.
Kyomuhangi further urged students who have not completed their registration to do so by Monday, October 04, 2021.
It should be recalled that MUBS recently postponed exams that were scheduled to be held on Wednesday, 29th September. These exams were pushed to Monday 11th October and Tuesday 12th for postgraduate and undergraduate programmes respectively.
