Ruhamya Kainerugaba, son of Chief of Defence Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has successfully completed the Officer Cadet Course at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in England.
Ruhamya, who serves in the Uganda Peoples’ Defence Forces (UPDF) with the rank of Private, had been undertaking officer training at the prestigious academy located across Berkshire and Surrey.
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst is the British Army’s premier officer training institution, known for developing military leaders through intensive leadership and tactical training rather than academic qualifications. It is widely regarded as one of the most respected military training institutions in the world, having trained officers from armed forces across the globe.
Completion of the Officer Cadet Course at Sandhurst typically marks a significant step in an officer’s military career, equipping graduates with leadership and tactical skills recognised within military circles internationally.
