Nkumba University has announced the death of Mwebaze Anold, a second-year Diploma in Business Administration student who was set to graduate.
The university shared the news on X on Monday, October 5, describing his passing as a profound loss to the Nkumba community.
Classmates remembered Mwebaze as “one of a kind,” the university said, describing him as a man of his word who was approachable and kind-hearted, and always ready to guide, support and encourage those around him.
The university extended its condolences to his family, friends, classmates and everyone who knew him, and prayed that they would find comfort in the memories of the life he shared with them.
The statement did not give the cause of death or details of burial arrangements.
