Once again, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) has produced the best overall graduand in humanities and she will be among thousands that are slated to graduate during Makerere University’s 70th graduation ceremony that starts next Tuesday January 14th.
According to a statement shared on the MUBS social media platforms, Ritah Namusoke, a Bachelor of International Business (BIB)student obtained CGPA 4.92 making her the best performer in Humanities. It should be recalled that the Nakawa-based institute topped last year’s Humanities graduands during Makerere’s 69th graduation ceremony.
More good news for the business-minded students indicate that MUBS has a total of 195 first-class graduands (degrees) ahead of the four-day graduation ceremony. This implies that MUBS is also the best performing college out of the 10 colleges run by Makerere.
A total of 13,509 graduands (50.5% female and 49.5% male) will be conferred upon degrees and awarded diplomas during the four-day ceremony. A total of 420 Graduands obtained a Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) above 4.40 hence attaining first class degrees.
