A total of 214 (out of over 1,000 that applied) Kyambogo University students have been shortlisted for oral interviews following thousands of applications received by the Banda-based university. The applicants applied to work for the university under the Students’ Work-Study Scheme. The Work-Study Scheme is aimed at providing opportunities to 1% of Kyambogo University students which is expected to help them raise up to 40% of their tuition through working for the university. Successful applicants have been shortlisted for oral interviews that will take place from today Thursday 29th April to Tuesday 4th May 2021 in the university’s rooms 31 and 33 of Uganda Block, according to information from the university. |
The university has urged shortlisted applicants to note the day they will be interviewed and further reminded them to carry the relevant documents (Admission letter, enrollment and evidence of payment of fees) and to keep time.
While selecting the best applicants the university was guided by a number of principles including; fairness, openness. merit, ethics, transparency, equity, among others.
