Damali Nakimbugwe, the former Kyambogo University Guild Representative for Nonresidents, Literature and English for the 2019 class is over the moon after making her relations official. Nakimbugwe got married scientifically following the new guidelines issued to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Information about Nakimbugwe’s hubby is still scanty but we can authoritatively assure you that the two tied the knot amid cheers from a few close friends and family members that graced the ceremony.
Nakimbugwe turned up for the ceremony decked out in a classy wedding dress while the love of her life came through dripping in a blue suit. The newlyweds later posed for a photo moment, a common norm done to paint memories for future reference.
President Museveni in March banned all public gatherings as a way of slowing the spread of COVID-19 and for weddings, only scientific arrangements were allowed. Nakimbugwe joins a few other couples who decided to marry despite the Coronavirus scare.
