Areas around Kampala including Kyambogo University experienced not-so-heavy downpour on Sunday which left scores of destructions, including a stage that had been set up for the University Bazaar at the East-end pitch of the institution.
The Bazaar, known for bringing together students (especially freshers) and the local community, has been running from August 11 and will conclude on August 20.

Revelers were left questioning the organizers who were in charge of setting up the stage, due to the fact that the rain was not heavy enough to bring down a well fixed stage, as they said.

Featuring stalls of various vendors, delectable food/drinks stalls, and a main stage for performances (which was ravaged), the event is always poised to be a highlight of the academic calendar.

Freshers reading this are encouraged to utilize the bazaar as a point to purchase commodities at promotional prices as the academic year officially rockets for the sky.
