Wednesday afternoon was agony, misery and tears as the slain UICT student’s family was being put to rest.
Yesterday, we sadly reported about the death of a one Alia Frederick Oyo a student from Uganda Institute of Communication and Technology who was killed by unidentified thugs in the wee hours of Saturday night in Banda as he was on his way back from enjoying the weekend.
Closer and more reliable sources have intimated to this website that Alia was on his way back from Pool Nest Bar and Restaurant in Kireka and was heading to a friend’s hostel (Imara Hostel) located in Banda to catch a nap after which he would proceed to his place later in the day.
Alia’s body was yesterday trasported from Mulago hospital to his ancestral home in Wandi Trading Center, Arua district by A-plus funeral services where he was in the afternoon laid to rest after mass that kicked off at 10am.
“I should be posting our happy moments not this it’s really not easy to say rest in peace brother. It’s very hard to believe all the plans we made are just gone like that and only left in tears and lost in thoughts. Life is really unfair,” eulogized Asiku Hillary a close friend to the deceased.
Till we meet again, rest in peace Alia Frederick Oyo!
