Nigeria’s Rema is one of the artists expected to entertain revelers at this year’s Afropalooza independence festival.
Rema that will be performing on October 8th has arrived in Uganda ahead of the Afropalooza festival.
The music star was picked from Entebbe international airport by a team lead by Talent Africa Group’s CEO Aly Alibhai.
Rema is one of the international guest artists that will perform at Uganda’s first independence festival.
Kenya’s Sauti Solo, that will be performing on the second day of the festival, is also expected to arrive in the country soon.
Over 60 artists will perform at the two days long Afropalooza independence festival this year.
Afropalooza independence festival is slated for October 8th and 9th at Lugogo cricket oval.
According to Aly Alibhai, Afropalooza festival will be an annual independence celebration, with the maiden show happening this weekend.
Afropalooza festival is organized by Talent Africa Group with MTN Uganda as the headline sponsors.
