Grief has engulfed the Mbarara University of Science and Technology (MUST) community since yesterday night (October 27) after one of their own Academic Staff Members, Dr. Bosco Mwebesa Bwana breathed his last under unclear circumstances.
According to information that Campus Bee received, Dr Mwebesa blacked out and fell in the bathroom shortly after he had returned home from an evening jog.
By press time, an official medical report about the deceased’s untimely demise had not been revealed yet by the family.
Dr. Mwebesa was also the head of HIV/AIDS Department at Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital who served diligently, according to some of his colleagues that Campus Bee contacted.
“Sadly, we announce the sudden death of Dr Bosco Mwebesa Bwana, yet another MUST alumnus who dedicated all his adult work life to his Alma Mater. We shall miss him dearly” an announcement from the University Alumni Association reads.
Dr. Mwebesa’s demise comes barely a week after MUST lost an Associate Professor – Dr. Richard Apecu Onyuthi, who was based at the Department of Medical Laboratory Science in the Faculty of Medicine.
May the souls of the departed Rest in eternal Peace.
