It’s a very sad week-end for the Uganda Christian University (UCU) fraternity, and in a special way the Volleyball Team following the shocking demise of one of their well-known alumnus, Naboth Ahurira Rwesherengwe who passed away yesterday (Friday)
The late Ahurira had been battling with throat cancer for a period of time which unfortunately, claimed his life yesterday at such a youthful age.
Since the unfortunate occurrence, social media across the deceased’s friends has been painted with condolences and heart-felt messages expressing intense grief of the late Ahurira’s demise.
“It was a difficult battle but you kept strong. Instead of us comforting you, you comforted us. Your strength was on another level. It awed us so much. Your kindness and generosity, your charisma, your charm, your empathy and humor got you a place in heaven. Rest in peace brother, we shall always cherish every moment we shared with you” reads a painful goodbye-message by Edith Naggie, a close friend to the deceased.
The late Naboth went to Mbarara Municipal School for his primary, Seroma Christian High School for secondary before he joined UCU where he played Volleyball and football for the University team around 2012-2013.
From all of us at Campus Bee, may the late Naboth’s soul continue Resting in eternal Peace.
