For most of the students in second year who have had the opportunity to be non-residents, congratulations. However, for some students it is not all a party. This is a concern for mostly the students who reside in the Bugujju village.
The roads are murrum and therefore tend to be impassable when it rains. After overflowing complaints concerning the roads by both the students and the community in Bugujju village, salvation came.
The route to St. Michael International Hostel (MIH) was graded indicating that some work was being done. The celebration however was short lived. With the recent rains, and the heavy vehicles on the road, the road has become impassable.
So many of the students from MIH and the neighboring hostels like Vienna and JK were unable to attend classes on Wednesday morning because they were trapped.
“There is no way I am passing in this mud, “said Sarah Ayado a student of mass communication year 2.
It was reported that most of the lectures that happened between 8:30am and 10: 30am suffered the absence of many of their students as a result.
