When you try to abolish or let alone talk ill of a ‘soul divine friend’ of most campus students, they’ll quickly gang up and rain a parade on you without an effort. Yesterday social media was clouded with all sorts of insults being hurled at Member of Parliament for Mukono Municipality MP, Betty Nambooze for her planned move to ban alcohol from all universities and higher institutions.
“We want to make beer hard to get at Universities. No more beers at guild canteens. Bars should operate outside institutions,” Ms Nambooze suggested.
Students angrily reacted to the proposed move by the MPs led by Betty Nambooze to ban alcohol at University premises.
