They Brutalised My Makerere Lover’s Genitals – Stella Nyanzi

Former Makerere University Researcher Dr. Stella Nyanzi, who is currently hiding in Kenya has taken to her Facebook page to reveal how her lover, Musiri David was brutalized after being kidnapped from his brother’s car on January 18^th 2021. 

Campus Bee reported about Musiri, a Makerere University student and People Power diehard who was kidnapped and whisked away in a Toyota Premio in January. 

According to Nyanzi, Musiri was tortured by security operatives while in illegal detention before throwing him in police cells when his body couldn’t take it anymore. Nyanzi further explained that Musiri’s genitals were brutalized everyday while he was being questioned about his peaceful protests. 

“Daily during interrogation, my lover’s body was beaten. He was questioned daily about the next plans of the NUP. He was questioned about the whereabouts of missing DR forms. He was questioned about the names of the leaders and organizers of protest activities.” Nyanzi wrote. 

“When he honestly denied knowledge of any of these issues, more violence was unleashed onto his captured body. His genitals were brutalized daily as punishment. He was mentally traumatized daily.” Nyanzi’s post reads further. 

Nyanzi added that after torturing Musiri to pulp, his tormentors dumped his unconscious body in police cells after spending days in torturing facilities. Apparently, many crimes including inciting violence were slapped on the Makerere University student who was later released on police bond. 

“A man with tortured genitalia moves with immense pain and some shame for a while. My lover was immobile for some time. He had to lay low and recuperate. He received some medical treatment , but what medicine can treat the long term affects of torture during interrogation while under arbitrary detention.” Nyanzi wondered.
