Agaba Mark commonly known by his stage name Uncle Mark Uganda has today afternoon been awarded Comedian of the Year Award by Vine Awards 2020 on an event that streamed live on social media.

The Vine awards are aimed at rewarding Christians who are excelling and influencing in entertainment, business, media, governance, education and family spheres.

The comedian who at the same time doubles as a student is the Guild President of Uganda Christian University Kampala Campus. He’s a second year student currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Social Work.

This is not Agaba’s first academic qualification as he first graduated with a bachelors degree in economics at Makerere University and besides this, he’s a dedicated farmer and business man.

Among other winners in the awards included NBS TV’s Solomon Sserwanja who won the Media Impact Award, Esther and Ezekiel who won the Junior Impact Award, Levixone with his Chikibombe song as the Best Gospel Song and Kenneth Mugabi who won the Listeners’ Choice Award.
