The Dean Faculty of Law at Uganda Christian University(UCU), Dr. Roselyn Karugonjo has stepped down from her job at the University after being appointed Chairperson of the Leadership Code Tribunal which she highly welcomed.
Dr. Karugonjo was appointed by President Yoweri Museveni on this top job which saw her relieving herself of UCU’s duties this week.
In a farewell communication to the University and students, Dr. Karugonjo expresses her gratitude having worked with the University and affirms that UCU has really prepared her well, for the future.
“I have had really great time at UCU and will miss working with a great team in the serene environment. I am so grateful to God for the time I have spent with everyone at UCU. It was a blessing for me to serve and believe UCU has prepared me well for the future. Even though I am leaving, I will remain with UCU in spirit. I will keep UCU in my thoughts and prayers” wrote Dr. Karugonjo
The outgoing Dr. Karugonjo will be replaced by Dr. Peter Mutesasira as the incoming Dean of the faculty. Roselyn urges the UCU community to support him as he takes on the role.
