This week on social media has been filled to the brim with entries by Ugandans (especially the young) who have flooded the latest Sage Buyers’ challenge for a chance to win iPhones. The challenge that was dubbed #iPhonifyWithSageBuyers seeks to award the most engaged entries across social media with an iPhone 11 upgrade for those that are already iPhone users and an iPhone X for those seeking to change from Android.
The steps of winning in the challenge involve; 1) Following/Liking/Subscribing to all Sage Buyers platforms on social media from Twitter, Instagram and Facebook all the way down to YouTube 2) Record a very creative video of yourself explaining the benefits of having an iPhone and how having it will further your digital experience, 3) Post the video on social media with the hashtag #iPhonifyWithSageBuyers and tag @SageBuyer on Twitter and Sage_Buyers on Instagram.
From those steps, according to Stanley Ssempijja the Sage Buyers CEO, the most creative and most engaging video will take the day and win in light of the terms and conditions stated above.
Known for their generous giveaways, Sage Buyers have in the past given away iPhones through similar challenges (like one where a Kyambogo University babe won) and most recently when they rewarded MC Africa who popularized Pia Pounds’ “Twende Tuparte” with an iPhone as well.
Speaking to Campus Bee, Mr. Ssempijja said this campaign goes so much to realizing the vision of his company which is to have an iPhone for every Ugandan. He believes that the experiences of an iPhone such as powerful cameras for memories should be enjoyed by every Ugandan and his dream is to have every Ugandan owning one for themselves.
