Ugandans online, especially Twitter, are demanding that the government steps in and returns the body of Esther Nakajjigo (23), a Ugandan student at the Drexel University in the United States(US) who died in America.
According to reports, Nakajigo was hit by a heavy gate while exiting a shopping mall in Colorado – USA where she died on spot.
The deceased was an Activist, Uganda’s Ambassador for Women and Girls and European Commission Young Leader who shed her light on many International platforms fulfilling her mission as a girl-child.
Esther also led a popular reality television show on Teenage pregnancy called ‘Saving Innocence Challenge’, a world reknown female-led movement financed a local girls partnership.
Esther Nakajigo was an old girl of Princess Diana High School, Munyonyo. Her friends describe her as a beautiful and loving soul who served above herself.
“One day Esther Volunteered to take me shopping at a department store and was quite patient with me – an indecisive buyer. Our encounter that day taught me something about her life, she was a human being full of humility” sorrowfully wrote Lekpele Nyamalon, one of her friends.
