Uganda Revenue Authority has opened applications for its 2026 Internship Program, allowing university students to gain practical work experience during the July–August internship period.
According to the announcement, URA is offering 286 internship slots, including 84 placements in upcountry stations across Uganda.
The program is targeting students pursuing courses related to:
- Accounting & Finance
- Economics
- Procurement & Supply Chain Management
- Taxation
- Law
- Information Technology
- Human Resource & Administration
- Project Planning & Management
- Communications & Public Relations
among others.
Students interested in upcountry placements are encouraged to indicate their preferred districts during the application process.

The internship program offers students a chance to gain workplace exposure, build professional networks, and strengthen their career experience before graduation.
URA also emphasized that it will not accept physical applications, urging interested students to complete the process online before the deadline.
