Third year student, Israeli Kasingye a student at Uganda Technology and Management University has launched a ‘Bobi Wine’ mobile application.

The app will allow you chat with the Kyadondo East MP directly just like WhatsApp. It seeks to connect the musician cum politician with his fans and constituents. “Bobi Wine has a huge following but he lacks a direct way of getting up close and personal with his followers despite the huge following on Facebook,” Kasingye says.

Kasingye, who doubles as a computer development and cyber security student, says that “it is better to begin working with the upcoming President before he actually makes it to State House.”

The App can be downloaded on Google Play Store on your android phone. However, some phone operating systems are still lacking the app versions from their App stores. For example, the owners of Windows Phones may not access the App something Kasingye blames on “lack of funding-yet.”
