Victoria University, according to plans by management, will soon relocate from Victoria Towers on Jinja Road, opposite Dewinton Road, to a new home.
This comes after the university’s proprietors acquired 15 acres of land in Naalya and are set to construct a new expansive campus.
“Victoria University has acquired a 15-acre piece of land in an upscale Kampala suburb of Naalya to design and construct a fully-fledged campus,” Rajiv Ruparelia, the University’s promoter told journalists.
“The new campus will offer hands-on training in technology and other courses with facilities like laboratories,” Rajiv added during the university’s 4th graduation ceremony which took place at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
“Victoria University is one of the best universities in Uganda and stands out as a centre of academic excellence. We offer a fresh and intellectually stimulating environment that nurtures critical thinkers.”
Over the years, Victoria University has established itself has the most unique and relevant private university ever since it was started in 2010.
It has invested heavily in state of the art facilities and classrooms to offer a wholesome education based on research and skills development.
In another interview with News Today Uganda, Dr. Khrisna N. Sharma, the university vice chancellor, said they are working on establishing an innovations hub at the university.
This means that the coming of the new campus will give the university to innovate, research and teach in a conducive and expansive environment.
