A student at Victoria University, Ms Linda Nassuna Husinah yesterday, jetted off to Egypt to take part in the Miss Elite Global beauty pageant.
The competition will take place this month, in Somabay, a modern town resort at the Red Sea of Egypt
Hailing from Masaka, the 21 year old was among the finalists in the recently concluded Miss Uganda 2023 competition. She emerged the Miss Elite – Uganda.
She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in nursing at the university.
Following her win at the national beauty finals, she earned a scholarship at Victoria University, all thanks to the generous Vice Chancellor – Prof. Lawrence Muganga of the same institution.
What she says
Nassuna believes that girls meet barriers in life and most of lower their hopes to achieve their good and possibility of dreams. Her participation in the beauty peagants aims at uplifting the voices of the girl-child and also empower them in all possible ways.
