Campus Bee has received a report of a yet to be identified youth who was captured on camera slaughtering marabou stork, locally known as ‘karoli’.
The young man was captured behind Mary Stuart Hall Dining at Makerere University
In the video captured by our snoop, the youth in question has reportedly been butchering the wild birds, time and again, behind the hall of residence.
With various muchomo (roasted meat) vendors in the surrounding areas of the premiere institution such as Kikoni, campusers now fear for their health citing a possibility of the wild meat being sold to them unknowingly.
In his intelligence, our snoop discovered that the young man recorded was arrested before by the University security for allegedly vandalizing the metallic fencing material of the forestry, which he “sold as scrap”
“…he sleeps behind MaryStuart hall. I heard people calling his name because he is known by some students,” our snoop said.
Campus Bee has since opened an investigation on the matter to ascertain the mental health status of the young man captured in the worrying video and gather more facts.
We’ll keep you posted.
