We are tired of sitting on the floor! Kyambogo students protest lack of infrastructure in lecture rooms

The striking spirit has attacked Kyambogo University. These silent burners finally stood up above their heights protesting against poor sanitation and wrecked furniture at their campus.

Armed with Stone age equipments (stones and sticks), they stormed their senate agitating for more furniture amongst other cries.

Some of the students say they were tired of sitting on the floor like they’re in a military training while others say they are “tired of standing like traffic police officers” while attending to lectures yet the University was doing nothing to sort this out. “that’s why they decided to call upon the strike spirit to give them the courage to move from their hostels and shake KYU a little,” a lecturer told this website. This also did not go far as The Anti Riot police was already in place to show these possessed dudes and babes the right way to express their content.

This comes a day after Makerere University students staged a strike protesting the 60% tuition policy that requires them to pay up all tuition within six weeks from the start of t a new semester.
