Locally acclaimed fashion stylist Oscar Kampala made the news a while back because of his fashion house. Many were expecting him to show up for orientation. News however reaching us has it that Oscar missed Orientation.
When we tried to find out why he did, sources revealed to us that it was because he was styling a wedding.
Oscar Kampala is hastily conquering the gossip streets at the mighty Makerere. Yet little is know of him, besides the fact that he is a chic magnet of sorts.
Demystifying Oscar.
In his senior 6 vacation, Oscar was already working for a number of top fashion brands in town. He even interned for the famous Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards, on top of helping the designer do some styling. From there, he cultivated his niche in fashion, and moved to start his own fashion brand.
Shortly after, he indeed opened up a shop on Ham Shopping Center opposite Makerere Main Gate. He started out selling clothes to his peers.
“I started with my high school friends. But the magic I guess started when I styled a friend for their prom party. He looked stunning so many of his friends came. So I am very busy in the days of prom parties. Lately however, we started doing weddings and campus dinners that require exquisite dressing,” he explained to this site.
