There is a looming crisis at Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Campus Bee has learnt. According to the Institute’s Quality Assurance Directorate Marking Status for finalists that Campus Bee has seen, the Business Administration Department marking status is at 0%.
The Business Administration department has a total of 1,711 transcripts but being at 0% has left over 900 finalists in fear as their graduation is approaching. Entrepreneurship, Applied Computing & IT as well as the Business Law Departments are also at 0% despite having 702, 1,783, and 1,270 transcripts respectively.
Leadership and Governance Department has one of the highest number of unmarked transcripts (2,746) and it is also at 0%.
More information coming indicates that the administration has now resorted to intimidating lecturers who are currently on strike over delayed pay.
The Marking Status further indicates that the total percentage of partially marked transcripts is 49% while 29% hasn’t been market at all. This leaves the final year students in limbo as graduation, that is set for March 2020 is fast approaching.
