Singer Winnie Nwagi and the management of Swangz Avenue have apologized to the public following an erotic dance session that Nwagi and her dancers served students of St. Mary’s College, Kisubi aka SMACK.
The video, which features boys of the mentioned school dubbing the singer and her dancers has been the talk of town as everyone blames the singer for going beyond the entertainment scope. Through her official social media platforms, the singer has come out to promise that she will always offer value to her clients within the limits of allowed moral standards.
“I always try to keep my fans entertained and sometimes I go overboard and my SMACK performance was one of those. I should have done better and to all offended parties, am sorry. Myself and my team are committed to always offer value to clients within limits of the allowed moral standards and shall always remind ourselves of that” Nwagi wrote.
In a statement released by Swangz Avenue, they have reportedly investigated the incident and measures have already been put in place to avoid the same from happening again.
“We deeply regret the inappropriate performance by Winnie Nwagi at St Mary’s College Kisubi on July 13th. We have investigated the incident and measures have been put in place to avoid a repeat of the same” the statement reads in part.
“This was a huge error in judgment and both the artist and the management team acknowledge the pain and mistrust caused by this incident. We apologize to the general public, parents of the students in attendance and the school administration” Swangz Avenue further wrote.
