Friday was a very colorful day for the Nakawa based university, MUBS. The third year students of BLHM were tasked for their second course works to organise the 6th annual MUBS Hospitality day. They were marked as the event went on. The event started as early as 10am in the morning.
As time went by, more and more of the MUBS students flocked the venue. Even the newly elected guild president Don Patrick Bugingo was in attendance. He actually ditched his victory party that was scheduled for 2pm at the dining hall. Various companies and people were awarded during the event, some of which include the Uganda Police Force and Byaruhanga Balaam of Balaam enterprise among others.
There were performances from Amooti, a fashion show and the top entertainer of the day being the ghetto president himself, Bobi Wine. As he made his way to the stage, the crowd was sent to screams and loud cheers of excited; clearly an indicator that he has a large fan base at the institute.
His performance did not disappoint either. He was the climax of the event and indeed, he left the crowds yearning for more and more. With the massive turn up and proper organisation of the event, if these third year students are not awarded excellent marks, we will be forced to conclude they were maliced. They worked hand in hand with sponsors and media houses such as NTV as well as URBAN TV were in attendance. It was a successful event I would say!
