MIRRORS, a Live, urban, Multi -Media and Social Art charity concert that is about inspiring Young people to transform Uganda by rebranding it as a Nation of integrity as opposed to a country full of corruption will take place this Friday [FRIDAY 21st NOV 2014] at Kitante Primary School play grounds.
The event is about unleashing the power of Youth to transform their world. The Mirrors event is a concert, live art activation and fashion event all in one space. The spirit of the concert is Young people have what it takes to end corruption in Uganda when they make the choice to do so. This year’s event is themed “HOPE” because we believe we are the HOPE for our Nation and will include music and dance perfomances from Uganda’s most inspiring Young Artists, live art, social media, spoken word, fashion and graffiti activations and so much more. MIRRORS is about using the power of ART and MUSIC to inspire YOUTH.
There will be a lot of fresh releases and performances from the best artistes, especially for the mirrors stage: Ruyonga, Enygma, Kimera, Afro jazz sensation Archie Dafina, Afro pop rising star Afrie will all be dropping brand new tracks at the show. So those who will be in the audience will hear it first. There will also have live art activations that people can be part of all to inspire.
Tickets will be on sale at the Gate for only 5000UGX and that comes with a free CD that has the entire MIRRORS 2014 Album on it. The event starts at 5pm. See you there!
