TODAY: YMCA vs MUBS
KICK OFF: 3pm, Buwambo
Two times champions Makerere University Business School travel to Buwambo today Tuesday to take on YMCA Comprehensive Institute in the Pepsi Uganda University Football League with both sides chasing their first win of the season.
In their previous game which was played at Nakawa, MUBS had to come from behind to earn a 1-1 draw against Kyambogo with MUBS players proving ineffective in front of the goal.
However, MUBS coach, Ayiekoh Charles is confident the team will do better.
“Against Kyambogo we had poor finishing especially in the second half which we dominated but we were not able to score. We have been working on that in training and I know against YMCA the finishing will be much better and we shall win that game,” Ayiekoh said
YMCA also had a problem with finishing in their previous and were held to a 0-0 draw by a dogged Mbarara University of Science & Technology however coach, Katwe Allan says his players are confident they will overcome MUBS especially since they are playing at home.
“I think we played well against Mbarara but we were just unfortunate not to score and win the game. We created so many chances but it was just not our day. I think against MUBS we shall do much better. They are a strong team but so are we moreover we shall be having home advantage,” Coach Katwe Allan said.
