Hi El,
So where did I leave at last week? Yes my lecturer and I were going for coffee, so anyway he cleared up his office quickly and we headed out.
We went to a place that had the age groups balanced out, in a way that my friends won’t see me hanging out with my lecturer or his workmates seeing him with me. Now that I write this down and read it to myself it seems like a good kidnap plan, but oh well.
It wasn’t much conversation because we didn’t have anything in common at all except for the course unit he lectured but who wants to talk about class on a date. Technically it wasn’t a date but you get my point, don’t you?
He told me about his education background, his work outside campus (he is quite a talker). I didn’t have to contribute much so I just listened not really listen because I was more focused on the food.
Well time moved on abit quickly and I had to leave, he offered to pay for my Uber and I’m guessing to avoid being seen in public. Well I didn’t care either because I wasn’t seeing this going anywhere. He gave me money to pay ,walked me to the car and we parted ways.
I got a phone call later in the night from him asking if I reached safely, whether I had a good time,a little conversation followed and that was all for the night.
I had to go to class and somehow he acted like he didn’t even know I existed. I was very confused because this man I thought had something going on with us was actually not looking at me.
My curiosity got the better of me and immediately the lecture got done, I rushed to his office to ask what that meant or whatever. He just smiled at me and complemented my dress after which he asked why I was ignoring his texts. The nerve and audacity! Well I didn’t have an explanation and I sheepishly stood there contemplating on how this was a bad idea to follow him.
One thing led to another and we have plans for a weekend away and I need to rest so I will tell you all about it next week.
Till we meet again ,
Love Lucy.
