It is always hard for people from other universities to acknowledge quality from Kyambogo University, but trust me , when Ginah smiles at you, you will make an emergency call to Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS); just to ask why such a smile doesn’t have their verified logo. With her white teeth, pinkish gums, luscious lips and sumptuous cheeks, Ginah will inadvertently tempt your tongue to play hide and seek with hers. She is the kind of girl who will blue-tick you on WhatsApp and you still feel happy – her blue-tick feels like a Twitter verified check-mark. The third year Kyambogo student of Community-based Rehabilitation, is one who will make you salivate and still not feel ashamed about yourself – that’s what girls of her kind do to humans.
Christened Shamirah Birungi, Ginah loves things that make her feel mulungi. Her name is not an exaggeration I swear – everything about her is kirungi, her taste too is nungi.
“I like live band and good food; so any place with nice pizza, ice cream and live band is utopia for me.” She stated.
More interesting about her is she has no guarded heart, and is she picky? No!
“My type of guy is any, as long as he gives me the respect I deserve.” Okay I don’t think any sane guy would fail to respect such a supernatural lady, but well, I know how tricky we Ugandan men can get when we get less tricky trophy girls like her.
Looking the part is a must for a girl of Ginah’s stature, so spending on good things is not a shocker,
“I handsomely spend on clothes and hair. Those two take a lot of my money and yeah, I’m not complaining.”
But munnange, we have a trend of Slay Queens at Campus, what does Ginah have to say about this?
“A slay queen to me is one who dresses up so well; always on point; descent and smart. Not the ones that are half-naked. Posting nudes cannot make you a slay queen; it makes you a bitch[sic]. Mere messing up your own dignity.”
Well, that hit me so hard, since I’m one of those voyeurs that like to check out every single update posted by a Slay Queen – I literally keep them in business ?. But yeah, from me and the team at The Bee, we wish our crush, Ginah a Wednesday as beautiful as her infectious smile.
