Kizza Paul, a student of business administration has been elected as YMCA comprehensive institute’s new guild president.

YMCA students at Buwambo campus and main campus went to the polls on Friday June 16th, 2023 to decide who becomes their guild president.

Kizza Paul emerged victor in the hotly contested race beating his rival Moses Asiimwe with a range of over 100 votes.

Kizza garnered 442 votes while Moses got 333 votes with only 37 registered invalid votes. Kizza will succeed Asiimwe Lynnette who has been holding the position.

Despite his competitor Moses having a catchy slogan ‘Alimba Alimba mulonde Nze atalimba’, Paul was able to convince students to entrust him with his ‘eyes and ears for the campus’ slogan.
