Uganda Christian University (UCU) student leaders elected last November have finally taken oaths of service.
The new Guild Government was treated to an induction service and swearing in ceremony on Tuesday 24th January in Nkoyoyo Hall.
UCU Vice Chancellor Prof. Aaron Mushengyezi presided over the event as the 25th guild government officially received instruments of power.
The team is led by Guild President Ddumba Timothy who emerged winner of a closely contested race late last year.
His victory was however challenged but later upheld.
Ddumba was duly confirmed as the next Guild President after defending his victory in the UCU Guild Petition.
Today’s swearing in cemented his triumph as he rightfully replaced the outgoing Mirembe Racheal Sserwadda.
