Julius Kateregga, the Guild President of Makerere University has gone missing. According to a reliable source within the Makerere Guild Cabinet, Kateregga was whisked away by unknown people after appearing on NBS TV’s Morning Breeze earlier today morning.
“He was supposed to reign over our general assembly at the Freedom Square. By the time the Police dispersed us, he was nowhere to be seen yet he appeared on TV earlier and was in good shape.” The Minister told Campus Bee.
Kateregga was on the show with the Makerere University Publicist Dr. Mohammed Kiggundu. The guild president pinned the vice chancellor’s personal assistant Gordon Murangira and Prof Hisali, the Principal of the College of Business and Management Sciences (CoBAMS) for escalating the students’ demonstration.
According to Kateregga, Murangira has used the office of the vice chancellor to recklessly suspend students and intimidate them whenever they sought answers from management. He also accused Prof Hisali for being the one responsible for the violent attacks on Lumumba Hall last week on Thursday, when the Military invaded them at night.
