There are so many unusual things about this strike at Makerere, on top of using ladies as the front liners, the battle grounds have been shifted to Makerere Kikoni and that is where they decided to engage police from.
In three separate videos that Campus Bee has obtained, the students filled the roads up with litter and set it ablaze as they chanted “Fees Must Fall”, much to the incitement of the Police who served them teargas in return.
This is day two of the strike at Makerere and the students are saying that even tomorrow, they’ll light the streets up. Watch the videos below:
